This week on Tuesday we've been doing maths but you need to explain the strategies that you know in term 2. I made a DLO about the strategies but I will show you that in a minute. There are 2 strategies that I know in term 2. The first strategy is column addition It's kind of the same normal addition but It's not. The second strategy is column subtraction It's like column addition too but you need to borrow from the next number. For example, ones you to borrow from tens and tens need to borrow from hundreds just like that. If you're borrowing It needs to be taking away higher than you have.
Here's the DLO that I made enjoy⤵️.
I hope you like my blog post about the two strategies that I know in term 2 and please leave a comment down below if you like it. Bye!
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 8 and in 2021 I will be a year 9. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

- Inkpad
- Tissue
Steps
- Get a balloon
- Put your finger to the ink pad
- After you put your finger to the ink pad put your finger to the balloon
- Blow the balloon but don’t pop.
- Get a magnifying glass and observe what kind of fingerprint are you.

For our science today our teacher told us that we are going to identify what type of fingerprints are.
They told to make a group of 3 after that we started to do our task
