PE: How to play Badminton

For the past few weeks, we've been playing badminton in PE. Which I will tell you about how to play badminton. Badminton is a sport that is similar to volleyball, however, you only need 1 or 2 people on each team to play. Badminton have different rules as volleball and badminton have racket, and shuttlecock as the ball.

Badminton Rules:

You can't double hit the shuttlecock.

You have to hit the shuttlecock over the net.

You have to serve dianagonaly.

In order for you to score you have to hit the shuttlecock to the ground on the opposite side, or they double hit, or they hit the shuttlecock to the out line, or they hit the shuttlecock to the ground in their side.

You can play single or double in badminton.

when playing singles the is much more farther than doubles and when playing doubles the side outer line is much more father than singles.

Static Electricity

Today I'm going to tell you about Static Electricity.

What are the 3 particles that make up everything? Which ones have positive and negative charge? There are Protons, Protons and Neutrons.

Objects want to be “electrically neutral”. What does this mean? There's no left over charge.

When you rub an two insulators you can get a static shock, so what is an insulator and a conductor? It's when both positive and negative, causes them to not get in touch by each other.

What is an example of static electricity? Static electricity is an electric charge that can make you're hair float, or causes a sparkle or crakling.

Book Review: Holes Book

Greetings Everyone,

Today I'm going to share with you what happened in the book. The title of the book is called Holes written by Louis Sachar. The book was about people, who got sent to Camp Green Lake, dig a hole every day under a hot sun. My favourite character is Armpit because when he raised his arms up, the others fell down like there was a shockwave. I like the book because It's quite interesting when reading it. When reading the holes book, I thought that the camp only has tents and a house-made from cement with an air conditioner for the Warden. Also, the Thumb God/Mountain is also very similar to the book and from the movie. I like the movie because It's quite similar to the book, however, something in the book didn't put in the movie. I would recommend the book Holes to over 10 years old.

Term 2: Reflection

 Greetings Everyone,

Today I'm going to share my reflection for Term 2. A lot of things happen the last term and I also did a term 1 reflection. My best highlight for the last term is Ars Kete, Hurumanu 6, and Hurumanu 3. I pick this highlight because I enjoy it, especially with my friends. The other subjects challenge me a little bit, it makes me want to give up and keep going, even though It's hard. In the last term, I learn something in Hurumanu 3 which is maths, I learn what is the 3 digit of pi. My term 3 goals are to finish my work in time and add more words to my sentences.

Diffusion of Potassium Permanganate

Greetings Everyone,

Today I'm going to share with you what we'd on our hurumanu 3 class. We'd diffusing the potassium permanganate for today's experiment.

The equipment that we'd used are Tweezers, Petri Dish, and KMnO4. Potassium Permanganate is also the same formula as KMnO4.Our aim for this experiment is for the temperature to speed up or slow down the diffusion. We'd put cold water and hot water on the petri dish and put the KMnO4 anywhere on the petri dish. The hot water experiment results diffuse the KMnO4 faster and spread out the KMnO4 than the cold water. The cold water diffuses slightly slower than hot water and doesn't really spread out the colours around.
