This holidays my dad and myself going to Kaiapoi. Then I tell to my dad to have a challenges. Who gets many fish will won a challenges. after we arrived to Kaiapoi I saw my friend car and I was glad to see him. Then we started to pick up and look for some space to get fish. my dad doesn't believed me that my friend Alex was not here. I walk around if my friend was here and then I saw Alex's brother named Alonzo. Then he told to Alex that i'm here I want to surprised him but it did not work.
I come back to my dad and he saw my fishing rod that it has fish on it. The named of the fish was Ering and that is my first fish of the years because this is our time to go fishing in this year. Me and my dad just sitting in the chair next to the bushes because it very cold. We're just used our phone to wait then I saw Alex and Alonzo going to there car. My dad friend gave us Khawai before they go home. Dad told me we're going home for about four o' clock and we only get one fish then we go home.

ReplyDeleteWhat a neat experience you have had with your dad! I hope you ate the Kawhai and the Herring. Usually, Herrings are quite small but very tasty. If you did cook the fish up at home I would love to hear more about what it tasted like and how you cooked. It is great to see you using paragraphs in your writing too. You could extend your writing by telling how you caught the fish. ( eg. did you wind it in? Were you on the pier or on the beach? Did it flop around? Did you have to kill it!? :/ What did your mum say when you brought it home!?) Hope you have more exciting adventures for the rest of your holidays.
