Maori:Hangi

This week in Maori we've been doing how to make a hangi. We watch a video about how to make a  hangi. After we watch the video we group up 2 to 3 people on your group. In my group are Axle and me because of each of us as a task. In each of us need to choose what we are doing. There are answering the question or make a hangi from google drawing and write it step by step. I choose to answer the questions and Axle is doing the drawing. After I finish the question I help Axle a little bit because he is also done.

Here's the question the I answer but the third question is about the hangi drawing.
1. People from which culture would use a hāngi to cook food? Maori and New Zealanders

2. What food cooks in a hangi? Chicken, Fish, Vegetables, fried meat, lamb, beef.

3. Using Google Draw create a poster showing how a hāngi is made. Insert your drawing on the following slide. Use lots of images to make it interesting.

4. What did Māori people think would happen to the food if someone walked over the pit? It will spoil the food and uneatable.

5. Why do you think moa, seal, tui, and pigeon are no longer cooked in the hāngi? Moa and Seal, are commonly cooked in a hangi. Tui and pigeon are no longer cooked in the hangi because there are our native animals in New Zealand.

Here's the link to the drawing that Axle and I did⤵️.

I hope you like my blog post about the hangi if you like my blog post please comment down below. Bye!
